Verkís provides engineering services in the field of industrial cooling and ventilation, both for spaces and equipment.
Among other things, our experts offer services and expertise when it comes to natural or mechanical ventilation for a healthy work environment.
We also work with extraction systems to meet the emission of gases and dust in industrial processes and cooling systems for both machines and spaces. In addition, the company provides consultation on systems for measuring and monitoring emissions from large and small industrial companies.
The company also offers the services of experts in the selection of equipment for air purification and deodorization in accordance with the requirements of the relevant company’s work permit. The design of general and specialised ventilation and air conditioning systems is also part of the services of the Energy and Industry Department.
Among the projects that Verkís has been involved in in this field are Stapaskóli, Etix Data Centre in Blönduós, the aluminum smelter in Straumsvík, Norðurál Grundartangi, and the silicon factory in Helguvík.
