Flood defenses

Verkís manages the project design of the catching dam and the levee, as well as the preparation of the tender documents.

The avalanche defenses is based on the construction of a 300-meter-long levee to receive avalanches from the ravine and direct them into the sea.

Three rows of cones will be built above the existing levees in order to reduce the flood speed in both the stauchwall and the dense core.
