Residential Development at Hlíðarendi
Verkís provided acoustic consulting services for a new residential development at Hlíðarendi in Reykjavík.
Comprising approximately 120 apartments.
Project overview
The project included detailed assessments of the acoustic environment within the buildings, as well as calculations of traffic noise levels both indoors and outdoors. Based on these analyses, Verkís developed recommendations for façade design, window specifications, and other noise mitigation measures to ensure a high-quality living environment and compliance with acoustic requirements.
