Request a consultationThe safety of employees and the public during any type of construction and operation of structures is ensured by, among other things, a risk assessment by designers during the preparatory stage of construction, improvements to the design, risk assessment at the construction site, construction monitoring, and regular maintenance of the construction’s safety aspects during operation, as well as occupational health and safe work. Safety and operation manuals for structures provide a good overview of the organisation, operation, and maintenance of technical and safe systems as well as response plans.
Verkís’ experts carry out a risk assessment of projects during the preparation stage as part of the design. Emphasis is placed on “designing out the hazards”, that is, applying methods that include risk reduction, as well as requirements for SHE issues are made in tender documents.
